Meet Our PSPC Lead Postpartum Doula
Esmé Campbell
CPD, CPR/AED (Infant and Adult)
Esmé is a Seattle native dedicated to providing calm and compassionate care during the early postpartum period. She strives to be a steadying presence amidst the many changes that come with welcoming a new baby. She firmly believes that postpartum care should encompass the whole family, ensuring each member feels nurtured and heard every step of the way. She is grateful she can provide experienced and research-backed support to families in the first weeks with their little ones.

My Story
From Esmé
My approach to postpartum care is rooted in community. Growing up, I watched close family members navigate postpartum depression and anxiety. Their openness about their experiences showed me how meaningful the consistent support of loved ones and caregivers can be. That experience shaped my belief that no parent or family should go through the postpartum period alone unless they choose to do so. As a doula, I aim to step into that role of steady support. I offer information, encouragement, and practical care without judgment, and always respect that each family’s journey belongs to them. I believe in parents’ intuition and work to reinforce their confidence as they learn their baby and grow into their new identities.
It is a privilege to step into people’s homes during such a beautiful, intimate, and complex time. To be trusted as a caregiver is not something I take lightly, and I take great care to ensure that such trust only strengthens with time. I am continually honored to be welcomed into these spaces and moved by each family’s postpartum experience. Being able to witness and support the formation of bonds that will last far beyond my time with them is possibly the greatest gift of my work.
